Fiscal Sponsorship is a members only program that serves the independent producer who is seeking funding for projects. Film/Video Arts will act as a fiscal sponsor for members in cases where a donor (such as a governmental body, nonprofit organization, an individual or other entity) stipulates in their funding guidelines that the recipient have nonprofit status under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

As a Fiscal Sponsor, F/VA does not supervise the actual production of projects, but is responsible for monitoring the project. The F/VA Fiscal Sponsorship Program also provides support to members and there is always a space to discuss and assist in any production issues.
